Our Story

A small studio, since 2018

Archive Paper & Press began with a cutting mat, a borrowed binding machine and a conviction that ordinary paper goods could be better.

We started making notebooks because we couldn't find the ones we wanted: paper heavy enough to hold ink, a cover that didn't curl, binding that opened flat and stayed that way. What began as a handful of pocket notebooks became a studio.

Today we make four things — spiral notebooks, staple-bound notebooks, greeting cards and business cards — and we make them properly. Everything is produced to order. Nothing is warehoused, nothing is mass-printed overseas, and nothing leaves the studio without being looked at by the person who made it.

Our clients are businesses ordering branded notebooks for a conference, a church printing keepsakes for a congregation, a couple assembling welcome bags for a wedding, a designer who wants a business card that feels like something. The scale varies. The standard doesn't.

If you have a project in mind, we'd like to hear about it — you'll talk to the studio, not a queue.
