How it works

Designing this product step by step

Everything happens in your browser. When you approve, we receive a production-ready file and go straight to press.

    Choose your notebook

    Pick the cover size, interior ruling and sheet count. The price for that exact configuration is shown before you design.

  2. 02

    Upload your cover artwork

    Drag a file straight onto the canvas or use the upload button. The canvas is built to the true printed cover dimensions, so what you position is what gets printed.

  3. 03

    Check print quality

    Effective resolution is measured against the printed size as you scale and move artwork. Anything below the recommended 600 DPI is flagged before you approve.

  4. 04

    Preview and approve

    See your cover on a photographic notebook mockup, then approve. Approval generates the print-ready file and prepares your order for checkout.

Questions

Before you start designing

Can I print on the back cover of a spiral notebook?

Spiral notebooks are printed on the front cover only. If you need printing on both covers, staple-bound notebooks print front and back.

What resolution should my artwork be?

We recommend 600 DPI at the final printed size. The studio measures your file's effective resolution live and warns you if it falls below that; you can still order, but print sharpness may be reduced.

Do you send a proof by email?

No. You approve your own proof in the browser, which is faster and removes a round of email back-and-forth.
